MobiNexus was presented at the SMARTMOBAIR project meeting held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 29–30 September 2026, highlighting opportunities for collaboration and synergies between two EU-funded initiatives working towards smarter and more sustainable mobility.
During the meeting, Prof. Marijana Petrović from the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (ICFM) presented the MobiNexus project and its Mobility Innovation Network (MIN) to the 27 participants attending in person. The presentation provided an overview of the project’s objectives, activities and opportunities for stakeholders to connect, collaborate and access mobility innovation resources through MIN.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore synergies with SMARTMOBAIR, an Interreg IPA ADRION project bringing together six pilot smart mobility solutions across the ADRION area. With 16 partners working to address challenges such as traffic congestion and air pollution through intelligent transport systems, cleaner transport options and cross-border cooperation, the project shares several areas of interest with MobiNexus. The exchange highlighted opportunities for knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement and collaboration around innovative approaches to more efficient and sustainable mobility.
By engaging with other European projects and initiatives, MobiNexus continues to expand the reach of the Mobility Innovation Network and strengthen connections between organisations working to accelerate the transition towards smarter, greener and more connected mobility.
